In the second quarter of 2025, the leading air travel apps on the Android platform in Austria demonstrated varied performance metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

The Austrian Airlines app saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, peaking at around 4.2K in mid-June. Weekly active users also increased steadily, reaching approximately 35.5K by the end of June.

Ryanair maintained a stable download rate, fluctuating between 1.7K and 2.6K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight upward trend, rising to about 41K in June.

The Flightradar24 Flight Tracker app experienced a notable surge in both downloads and revenue. Downloads spiked to 4.3K in mid-June, while weekly revenue climbed to approximately $2.7K. Active users also increased significantly, exceeding 49K by late June.

Eurowings - Fly your way showed an increase in downloads, particularly in May, reaching over 1.2K. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at around 2.4K in May before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.

Finally, the Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save app's downloads increased steadily, with a peak of 904 in early June. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 7K mark throughout the quarter.
